Congratulations to our February Golden Apple Winner, Commander John Moore. Commander Moore is a Public Safety Teacher at Columbus Downtown High School where he has been for 12 years. In his class he teaches the importance of respect, discipline, family, and many other topics. Not only does he teach important life lessons, he also teaches the law enforcement side of the public safety program. Commander Moore started out in the Army and then moved to Ohio where he become a Correction Officer and a SWAT team member for the state of Ohio. He has worked with children for over 14 years and is very passionate about what he does.
